Moving

My dad finally moved out, so I’ve been helping him settle into his new house. He still hasn’t gotten the phone lines up or the internet on, so I haven’t been able to write anything here. I really wish I lived with my dad and not my mom. He’s just so much better at dealing with things than she is.

I feel bad that I sort of just dropped a responsibility in everyone’s lap. My mom is making me get rid of my cat and her three kittens. I had one left that I really didn’t want to give away, when I realized I could always give her to Baron and them :) I think by the time Baron realized there was a kitten in the house, too many people knew about it, so he couldn’t really say no. I get the feeling he would have said yes no matter what, though.

Intro!!

Hey all!

My name is Luke Steven Scott-York. In the Hayya family, I’ve been given the name “Luzige”, which means Locust.

I live at home with my mother and father, however, they’re going through a divorce, and are currently living in separate locations. I usually have to stay at my mothers house, though I’d prefer to live with my father, as he is a much more kindhearted person, and he understands me when I do things, such as visit my friends on an almost daily basis.

I met the Hayya family through Aaron. We met in a science class in Middle School, where I sort of found out I had a crush on him. I followed him around a lot, and met some of his friends, which helped me a lot, because people have always excluded me from everything, from playing sports, to class projects.

Through Aaron, I became very fast friends with Elsie, who just has the most stunning personality in the world. She is so open and caring, and I must say that that makes me very partial to her company. Baron took me in as though I was his younger brother almost as soon as I met him, such is his nature. Anny was very wary around me, until one day she witnessed a very unfortunate child attempting to bully me when I was walking home from school one day. To say the least, Anny leading a group of four other children to my rescue put the boy at a severe disadvantage, though, fortunately, no one resorted to violence.

Earlier this year, I had the privilege of meeting Shawn when he arrived in Baron’s household. He’s a very quiet and lonesome boy, and not very many people have really tried to get to know him. I know Baron has, but he’s much too invasive, which I think has scared Shawn off a bit. I come over to babysit Matt and Wyatt a lot for Baron, and Shawn usually stays home, because he frequently doesn’t feel well, so I’ve gotten to talk with him a little bit more than a lot of the others have, simply because I’m just there and not actively trying to make him talk with me. Just from the things he’s said to me, I know there’s so much going on with him. I hope he’s talking to someone, somewhere.

I hope you enjoy my diary!

HI!!

I know I’m not exactly a part of Baron’s family, but I love them all, and I’m always with them, so I love this idea! I can’t wait to really get started on writing this with them. I’ve never kept a diary before, but I bet it’ll be great to write things down!

I’m so excited!! :DDD
